Frequently asked questions

How to adjust contrast in an image?
Select your file, drag the contrast slider — positive values increase contrast, negative values reduce it.
How does contrast adjustment work?
It scales pixel values around the midpoint, pushing bright areas brighter and dark areas darker when the value is increased.
Is this like Photoshop's or Lightroom's Contrast slider?
Yes — all three scale pixel values around the midpoint. Lightroom's Contrast applies a subtle S-curve; this tool uses a linear approach, closer to Photoshop's legacy Contrast behavior.
What file formats can I export?
You can export as PNG, JPEG, WebP, TIFF, BMP, or HEIC.
Is this tool free to use?
Yes — completely free, no account needed. Your images are processed entirely in your browser and never uploaded to a server. Downloads have no watermarks.
