Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 8, 2025

BrushCue is operated by Dito Technologies LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Who We Are

BrushCue ("we," "us," or "our") is a product of Dito Technologies LLC. Our image editing tools run directly in your browser — no installs, no watermarks. For questions about this policy, contact us at privacy@brushcue.com.

2. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account or log in, we collect your email address and any profile details you provide. We use this to authenticate you and associate your saved projects with your account.

Images and projects. BrushCue tools process images locally in your browser using WebAssembly — your images are not uploaded to our servers during tool use. When you save a project, your project data (including edits and settings) is stored on BrushCue servers so you can access it across devices. We do not use your images or projects to train machine learning models or share them with third parties.

Usage analytics. We use Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics to collect anonymized data about how visitors use BrushCue — pages visited, features used, and general traffic patterns. This data does not personally identify you.

Cookies and local storage. We use cookies and browser local storage to maintain your session and remember preferences. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve BrushCue
  • Authenticate your account and sync your saved projects
  • Understand how our tools are used so we can improve them
  • Respond to your questions or support requests
  • Send important notices about your account or our service (no marketing without consent)

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the third-party services we use to operate BrushCue (such as hosting and analytics providers), and only to the extent necessary to provide those services. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and saved projects for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and projects within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your Choices

Access and correction. You can view and update your account information at any time from your account settings.

Deletion. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at privacy@brushcue.com.

Cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Note that some features may not work correctly without cookies.

Analytics opt-out. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.

8. Children

BrushCue is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from this policy will be resolved in accordance with applicable US law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of BrushCue after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
