- What size is a UK passport photo?
- 35x45 mm. Digital photos need at least 600x750 pixels. This tool exports 827x1063, which prints cleanly at 35x45 mm.
- How big should my head be in the photo?
- From chin to crown, your head must be 29–34 mm of the 45 mm height (64–76%). The tool sizes it to 70% by default; adjust the head size slider if needed.
- What background color does a UK passport photo need?
- A plain cream or light grey background with no shadows or patterns. Keep the background toggle on to replace yours with light grey automatically.
- Can I wear glasses or a hat?
- Generally no. Glasses are only allowed with a medical reason, and head coverings only for religious or medical reasons, with your face fully visible.
