The effect I was going for was viewing someone through rose-tinted glasses. The spirit of this effect is love and Valentine's Day. I hope you find it a good tool to express yourself.
How the effect works
The Rose Tint tool is a short pipeline that stacks a few gentle adjustments, all scaled by a single Overall Strength control. You can adjust this to fit your needs by editing the operations the tool performs.
- Saturation boost: a 30% saturation adjustment is applied to your image.
- Warm chroma shift: a small chroma offset pushes hues toward a warm rose.
- Brightness lift: brightness is increased by 10%.
- Pink overlay: a pink color is blended into the image.
- Vignette: a subtle vignette is added at the end.
All of these operations are scaled with an overall strength parameter, set to 50% by default.
