Introducing Editor Documentation on the Monet Website
Today, we launched new Editor Documentation on the Monet website.
You can now browse a dedicated reference at /docs/editor to understand how the editor is built, what each node does, and how data types connect across the graph.
What is included
The new documentation currently includes:
- Node Reference index with all public processing nodes.
- Per-node pages with outputs, input signatures, and descriptions.
- Type pages that show which nodes produce or consume each type.
- Tool cross-links so you can quickly see which published tools use a node.
Why we added this
As Monet grows, the editor graph gains more power and flexibility. That also means there is more to learn.
This documentation is meant to make exploration faster for everyone:
- creators building custom effects,
- contributors learning the graph model,
- and anyone curious about how tools are assembled under the hood.
What's next
This is the foundation. We plan to keep expanding the docs with more practical examples, usage guidance, and deeper explanations over time.
If you have feedback on what would make the docs more useful, we would love to hear it.
